Not Blogs, Logs

For this fall's Advanced Composition courses, I've been looking for ways to add fun to the audio progress reports, or logs, my students will make about their research projects.

Dan, I like the confusion of blogs. Logs has the connotation of minimalist recording of data, like those early chronicles:

1540 - Crops failed
1542 - Abbot died
1543 - New abbott

Also, the class (as in social)/ work (as in manual labor) dimensions of the kind of records you keep to validate your pay, mileage etc.

P.S. I've aggregated you....(and played with the OPML a little bit.)
